Move to Cambodia was founded by Kayla, who relocated from the UK over a decade ago and has since lived and worked across several countries in Asia. She is currently based in Siem Reap, where she has built local knowledge and connections that inform the guidance we offer. She has worked as a teacher and education administrator at international schools, held marketing and operations roles with a UK telecommunications company, and previously ran a consultancy assisting international teachers with tax matters in Thailand.
Having managed her own relocation — including visas, schooling, housing, and every logistical detail in between — she understands both the practical steps involved and the emotional side of starting again somewhere new. This business exists because that kind of firsthand, honest guidance was hard to find when she needed it herself. We built the service we wish had existed then.
